Laying Up Lunch – 25th Oct. ’25, The Admiralty

Our annual Laying Up Meal, celebrating end of season, started out with a group photo and a visit to the National Gallery.

We then moved to The Admiralty, just off Trafalgar Square. Once again, a new venue for us as with our Going Afloat meal; this year we have been sampling new venues with nautical links.

These dishes are a sample of the culinary delights shared, turning the afternoon into a edible spectacle. Paired with the camaraderie of good friends, treasured sailing memories from the year, and a fitting venue, it was a perfect celebration to end the season.


This is the essence of our club: sailing adventures, lasting friendships, shared indulgence, and lively entertainment provided by The Mariners’ Mates.
